Our camping in the Gorges of Tarn with river
Swimming at the campsite in the Gorges du Tarn by the river
By choosing the campsite in the Gorges du Tarn on the river bank, you will enjoy a private pebble beach that stretches along the estate. You can enjoy swimming in the fresh water of the river from one of the campsite pitches or from your mobile home rental. A wide pebble beach will allow you to enjoy the Gorges du Tarn, while picnicking or resting by the river Tarn.
Swimming in the campsite river
Enjoy a private pebble beach that runs alongside the campsite. A place to relax, just like the campsite swimming pool. Swimming is possible for all ages thanks to a very gradual bottom, which makes it easy for children to get in and out. (Dogs are not allowed on the campsite beach).
Lovers of water activities and games will find their pleasure here thanks to the river, which is ideal for these activities. From the Peyrelade campsite you can hire equipment and go canoeing with your family. Two routes are available for holidaymakers who wish to explore the Gorges du Tarn from the water: a 5km canoe trip or a 17km trip starting from the campsite by minibus and arriving at the landing stage. You can book or hire a canoe from the reception of your campsite in the Gorges du Tarn on the river bank.
Fishing on the Tarn
Fishermen can enjoy their favourite activity from the campsite during their holidays, as category 1 fishing can be done directly from the campsite in Aveyron. In a natural area, you can directly access this superb fishing spot on the banks of the Tarn. Fishing cards are available for sale in the village and there are fishing permits for 1 week or 15 days, ideal for your stay at your campsite in the Gorges du Tarn on the banks of the river.
